  • A beautiful vine with dark green glossy leaves. Leaves can at times, hang on during the winter months.

  • Vine can grow 15-25 ft high but, can also be trained.

  • Blue-black berries are produced which persist over the winter providing a very important food source for songbirds and other animals.

  • This vine is becoming more rare in southern Ontario and should be utilized more often.

  • Woodland edge, sunny edge or dappled shade are good locations.
